Before kick off please ensure you have possession of the team sheet signed by both clubs, once in your possession no other party should have access to it.
For early kick offs it is essential the teams are ready to kick off on time?
The league will fine any team who are not ready to start the game as it can lead to the match official either not being able to complete the full game if it is the 10.15 kick off or be late for the 2nd and later game if applicable.
The 40 – 20 rule is generally NOT played in Youth or Amateur rugby
Important :- Youth games involving players 16 Years old & under must be halted at the next tackle or break in play in the event of an injury. Physio's have unrestricted access to injured players and should not wait until play stops to attend to a player. Play should not resume until the injured player is treated or has been substituted.
Local youth games generally play unlimited substitutions, if it is a Yorkshire Cup or National Cup game then there are limitations, please check. With this in mind suggest you instruct all non playing substitutes to wear track suit tops whilst not playing.
Sin Bins for all youth games are 10 minutes in length.
Game duration may vary for service area & other representative games
It is important that these playing durations are strictly adhered to.
